
Tamara Vukicevic is a medical doctor and researcher based in Berlin, with a background spanning mental health, human rights, climate change-related global health, sustainability, and public health. Since 2022, she has worked as a Research Fellow at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, contributing with qualitative research, as well as the preparation of EU Horizon project proposals, including institutional coordination and proposal development. She also guest-lectured at Technische Universität Berlin and speaks at medical conferences and civil society events on climate change, sustainabilty and mental health.
Tamara is actively engaged in human rights and civil society work. She is serving her second mandate as an expert on freedom of thought, conscience, religion or belief for the ODIHR (OSCE) Panel of experts on FoRB and also currently serves as President of Protagora, an association advocating for the rights of nonreligious people. Since 2026, she has been the Second Chair of InMOE, a cultural exchange-based NGO. She completed an internship in 2025 at the European Parliament, where she focused on policy monitoring, research, and analysis with a strong understanding of EU policymaking and institutional processes.
Her work combines research, public speaking and advocacy, community building, project management, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with a particular interest in human rights, social justice, inclusion, and evidence-based approaches to societal challenges.
